New Beauty Finds

In the past few months I gathered many new beauty finds.  Below are the LUXE GEL TATOO in the shade NO.2 Grey Brown and NO.1 Light Brown from the website Yesstyle.  I purchased these to make my brows appear fuller.  I have seen so many before and after pictures from videos and comments so I was ready to invest my money into this product.  Here were the results from using shade NO.1 Light Brown.

The LUXE GEL TATOO did enhance my eyebrow features where there were hair, however on the sparse areas like at the ends of my eyebrows I was left with stain marks and it was not cute.  I had to go over it with makeup to make it look more natural.  Overall, I did like the product but it was not meant for me.

Due to an increase of dryness on a certain spot my face, my Tidal Riley moisturizer needed to be changed.  The sales representative from Sephora recommended the It Cosmetics Confidence In a Cream Moisturizing Cream.  I bought it along with the First Aid Beauty Ultra Hydrating Serum to help my moisturizer seep in better.


I love this product so much!  I have been using it for two weeks now and can see a significant increase of hydration in my skin.  I highly recommend it to others.

This cushion tint can double up as a cheek stain.  I chose pretty pink colors that are perfect for spring.

This is the Bobbi Brown Powder Foundation in the Shade Warm Beige 3.5.  I use it with my Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in the same shade.  It helps matify my face while neutralizing the redness on my skin.  The downside is that I have to reapply this often.

The last beauty find on my list is this water flosser.  I recently got my wisdom teeth extracted, so I bought this as my cousin instructed to help clean the holes from my teeth.  It caused my hole to bleed even more and it hurt so much.  This was only meant to help floss my teeth.  It does it job.  After a week of pain, I returned to my dentist where they gave me a syringe to clean food out of my holes.

Bleaching Eyebrows

Hello Everyone! Fresno Hmong International New Year and more!

I wish I had taken more photos of the booths in the Fresno Hmong International New Year to share with you guys!  This is my outfit I bought this year for the Hmong New Year.  It is a variation of the Chinese style Hmong outfits.  The Chinese style is typically designed with strings of beads versus silver money.  Their hats usually matches with the color of the outfit, however when I bought mine it did not come with the hat nor the matching skirt.  The vendor I bought it from assured me that it would be fine with the stunning silver hat and white skirt, and she was not wrong!   Here is the second outfit I wore this year.  My cousin and I are sporting two similar yet very different Thai outfit.  Hers have a more braided clothe covering her shoulder with a set of gold beads.  Mine is simply laced beaded with small gold beads.  I had worn the outfit in a previous year with my hair down.  This year I changed it up and decided to ...

Hmong Music Festival 2017

The HMF or Hmong Music Festival happens once a year since 2012 when it was first showcased.  This event brings Hmong people from different communities all over the world together in one spot for an enjoyable, fun, and cultured event. The idea of attending HMF was last minute for me.  It was not until noon that I decided to tag along with my cousin and her wonderful boyfriend who visited from Michigan.  I knew attending this event would help me connect to my community more which is something I have been doing in the past year.   Since it was last minute, I was not aware of all the different mini events/vendors going on at the HMF.  The Fresno Fair Grounds is where the HMF was held at.  Inside, there were the typical vendors selling raffles, selling clothes, food, and jewelry.  I arrived at 2 in the afternoon and spent two hours at the food court area.  Later, I found out there was an area where a fashion show was being held.  By th...
