H&M Haul




When it comes to shopping for clothes, I spend the majority of my time browsing online at Asian clothing influenced websites.  The one I shop the most at is Yesstyle.com since it carries a variety of clothing I see from my Korean Dramas.  During a local Farmer's Market, I sneaked into H&M to cool down from the heat outdoors and that was when I saw the clothing pieces I have been obsessing over: Ruffles!  I purchased 6 tops circulating the idea of ruffles.

Piece 1:
This first top is a plain white ruffle collar with coordinating ruffle sleeves.  It is simple and can be layered with trench coats or vests.  You can even add a sweater over the top during colder seasons.  P.s.  I accidentally deleted the photo of me modeling the shirt. 





Piece 2:
This top is a transparent and breezy.  I am in love with the detailing of the ruffles on the sleeves.  It is shorter and cuts in a V-shape.








Piece 3:
This top is one of the more simpler top, however the deep forest green color is so pretty!  I recently wore this top to my my cousins' 8th grade promotion.  I paired it with black slacks and black pumps.  It was super classy and gave me an matured-vibe.


Piece Four:
This blouse is also transparent.  I wore a white tank-top underneath for more coverage.  The ruffles of this blouse is similar to the light green blouse earlier.  It is romantic and soft.  




Piece Five:
I was going to buy this comfy top in the shade white but realized I already bought too many white tops for this haul so I opted out for a light blue color instead.  It is a plain style T-shirt with ruffles on the sleeves.  This shirt is easier to wear on an everyday occasion.



Piece Six:
The detailing of the ruffle on this top is very limited but powerful.  The small ruffles on the shoulders creates a sense of femininity without being bold.

Bleaching Eyebrows

Hello Everyone! Fresno Hmong International New Year and more!

I wish I had taken more photos of the booths in the Fresno Hmong International New Year to share with you guys!  This is my outfit I bought this year for the Hmong New Year.  It is a variation of the Chinese style Hmong outfits.  The Chinese style is typically designed with strings of beads versus silver money.  Their hats usually matches with the color of the outfit, however when I bought mine it did not come with the hat nor the matching skirt.  The vendor I bought it from assured me that it would be fine with the stunning silver hat and white skirt, and she was not wrong!   Here is the second outfit I wore this year.  My cousin and I are sporting two similar yet very different Thai outfit.  Hers have a more braided clothe covering her shoulder with a set of gold beads.  Mine is simply laced beaded with small gold beads.  I had worn the outfit in a previous year with my hair down.  This year I changed it up and decided to ...
