Halloween is the perfect excuse for me to express my creative abilities. Two years ago I was the mesmerizing mermaid, last year I was the enchanting white swan, and this year I was able to be the courageous Princess Fiona. I made my costume out of an old green 3/4 sleeve shirt seamed with green fabric. Afterwards I added the gold details. Since this was just a costume I didn't hem the bottom of the fabric. The tiara and wig were the missing parts to my costume. You can get them both on amazon. The person to the right is my cousin Victoria. She dressed as a care bear. I hope you all enjoy!
When it comes to shopping for clothes, I spend the majority of my time browsing online at Asian clothing influenced websites. The one I shop the most at is Yesstyle.com since it carries a variety of clothing I see from my Korean Dramas. During a local Farmer's Market, I sneaked into H&M to cool down from the heat outdoors and that was when I saw the clothing pieces I have been obsessing over: Ruffles! I purchased 6 tops circulating the idea of ruffles. Piece 1: This first top is a plain white ruffle collar with coordinating ruffle sleeves. It is simple and can be layered with trench coats or vests. You can even add a sweater over the top during colder seasons. P.s. I accidentally deleted the photo of me modeling the shirt. Piece 2: This top is a transparent and breezy. I am in love with the detailing of the ruffles on the sleeves. It is shorter and cuts in a V-shape. ...
