Minnesota and Wisconsin OOTD

Welcome back to Ghaneethebugblog.blogspot.com!
It has been awhile since I stopped blogging and I apologize in advance for  causing anyone to worry.  As you know, I am in my final phase in my teaching credential and each day I've been bombarded with work to complete.  I am constantly meeting deadlines after deadlines.  It's no joke!

For today's post. I've decided to to an OOTD post on what I wore in July when I visited Minnesota and Wisconsin over the summer.   On the day of the flight I wore a daisy print crop top with loose black drawstring pants.  I topped it off with black wedges.  You can't see it in the picture, but I venture off into something new with my makeup.  I outlined my eyeliner with a blue eyeliner .
DAY 1: OOTD
Light Blue Button Up
Distress Denim Shorts
Silver Choker
Nude Pumps

I couldn't believe how green the landscape was!  On the days I was in Minnesota, I went out for a morning jog with my younger cousin, Linda.  We were surrounded with playgrounds, parks, and nature - it was surreal!  We were greeted by friendly neighbors and fresh air which is unheard of in Fresno.

DAY 2: OOTD
Lace Long Sleeves Top
Lace Bralette
Skinny Jeans
Nude Pumps
White Tri-Circle Earrings

This isn't a secret but ladies DO NOT tour the Mall of America in heels.  My feet were blistering up after the third hour!  I do not want you to experience the same fate.  If you must wear heels for pictures, bring extra shoes to change into.  I was pretty excited about finding this huge yellow crayon.  --->
Towards the evening, my family and I took a tour in the Hmong Village in Wisconsin.  If I had more room in my suictase I might have bought an outfit in preparation for the 2017-2018 Hmong New Year.

DAY 3: OOTD
Red Sleeveless Embroider Dress
Red Tri-Circle Earrings
Red Flats

I was on a peddle boat for the first time.  It was adventurous and allowed me to travel to the other side of Como Park.  I also went to the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory.  It was like a huge greenhouse with different rooms occupied with certain types of plants.  Our last stop at Como Park was the Como Zoo.  My most memorable memory was when I entered the room filed with butterflies.  One even landed on my hand. :)

DAY 4: OOTD
Summary Grey Jacket
Pink Short Sleeve Button-Up
Black Shorts
Shoes?

My hair fades really fast ever since I started bleaching it.  On this trip, I had to color it darker.  This picture was taken in a basement.

DAY 5: OOTD
Striped Blue Blouse with Ruffles on the Shoulders
Tan Pants
Pink Pumps
Blue Poncho

These pictures were taken in Wausau, WI.  The highlight of my outfit was definitely my blue poncho.  I had bought one prior to flying in preparation for the unpredictable weather and because bringing an umbrella would be a hassle on the airplane.  I am proud to say that I was able to pull out this poncho twice.  It was a life-saver!

DAY 6: OOTD
Oh My Quad Muscle Tank
Blue Mesh Leggings
Popflex Poppy Collection Sports Bra
Nike Tennis Shoes

#Yogaeverydamnday
#RibMountain

 DAY 7: OOTD
Red Off-The-Shoulder Top
Faded Denim Shorts
Sandals

The body of water in Wisconsin is not clean.  When I was told we would be jet skiing, I was nervous, however, it ended up being a sport I really enjoyed.  I love doing things that excites and makes my heart pound!  *On a side note:  The jet ski did flip and all the passengers fell into the water.  I fell into the water and took a huge gulp of the polluted water by accident. *  I treated myself to a rolled ice cream inside a taco shaped inspired waffle cone.

H&M Haul

When it comes to shopping for clothes, I spend the majority of my time browsing online at Asian clothing influenced websites.  The one I shop the most at is  Yesstyle.com  since it carries a variety of clothing I see from my Korean Dramas.  During a local Farmer's Market, I sneaked into H&M to cool down from the heat outdoors and that was when I saw the clothing pieces I have been obsessing over: Ruffles!  I purchased 6 tops circulating the idea of ruffles. Piece 1: This first top is a plain white ruffle collar with coordinating ruffle sleeves.  It is simple and can be layered with trench coats or vests.  You can even add a sweater over the top during colder seasons.  P.s.  I accidentally deleted the photo of me modeling the shirt.  Piece 2: This top is a transparent and breezy.  I am in love with the detailing of the ruffles on the sleeves.  It is shorter and cuts in a V-shape. ...

Bleaching Eyebrows

Hello Everyone! Welcome back to ghaneethebugblog.blogspot.com!  A little over a week ago, I colored my hair red/orange/brown as an inpsiration from Hyuna's new song she's featured in called 365 So Fresh by Triple H.  The problem with coloring my hair so much is matching my eyebrows to the new hair color.  I went into Sephora and consulted with one of the makeup artist on how to get eyebrows like Hyuna.  It's soft and light and is an iconic eyebrow style K-Pop artists' have.   Hyuna Traditional Korean eyebrows (Picture taken from a Google search) The makeup artist suggested for me to by an eyebrow bleach kit to lighten the hairs on my eyebrows.  That would be the only way to achieve the light eyebrows.  I already had bleach and developer at home, so I mixed a equal amount of portions together.  You do not need a lot.  I had only mixed a little and had enough for four or five pairs of eyebrows. 10 Volume developer w...

Fresno Hmong International New Year and more!

I wish I had taken more photos of the booths in the Fresno Hmong International New Year to share with you guys!  This is my outfit I bought this year for the Hmong New Year.  It is a variation of the Chinese style Hmong outfits.  The Chinese style is typically designed with strings of beads versus silver money.  Their hats usually matches with the color of the outfit, however when I bought mine it did not come with the hat nor the matching skirt.  The vendor I bought it from assured me that it would be fine with the stunning silver hat and white skirt, and she was not wrong!   Here is the second outfit I wore this year.  My cousin and I are sporting two similar yet very different Thai outfit.  Hers have a more braided clothe covering her shoulder with a set of gold beads.  Mine is simply laced beaded with small gold beads.  I had worn the outfit in a previous year with my hair down.  This year I changed it up and decided to ...
