Modern Renaissance Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills

My boyfriend bought this palette as an early Christmas gift.   It is absolutely my new obsession!  There are swatches of the colors on my arm right below.  I love that the palette has a lot of warm and berry tones.  It is perfect just in time for the Fall season.

Korean Clothing

The Pinafore trend is coming back since the 80's.  In Korea, however, it never died out.  In the plentiful Korean soap operas I watched, many of the women would sport this trend.  I was never courageous enough to try it out, but this year it kept appearing in the outlets I shop in.  I eventually gave in and ordered some from the website Yesstyle.com.  Tell me what you think below.  xoxo Outfit: Tan Slip:  Yesstyle Black Booties:  JCPenny Heart Necklace:  Amazon Ted Baker Sun Glasses:  Nordstrom Rack Outfit: White Ruffle Sleeve Blouse and Blue Slip:  Yesstyle White Shoes:  Ross

LA Getaway

I visited LA two weeks ago for CL's concert.  For those of you who do not know, CL is a South Korean rapper from the group 2Ne1.   A few years back CL dropped her first solo song and have continued to release more solo songs till this day.  The concert was everything I hoped it to be.  I was truly amazed by her talent.   For the weekend my cousin and I also explored a well known structure of LA called Urban Lights.  It is located in the LACMA.  Next time we plan to see the whole museum.  +Los Angeles County Museum of Art   Outfit: Black Turtle Neck:  JCPenny Black Layered Choker:  Forever 21 Brown Faux Fur Vest:  Maurices Light Up Shoes:  Amazon Ted Baker Sun Glasses:  Nordstrom Rack Black High Waisted Pats:  Angl Brown Wig:  Amazon Black Purse:  Charming Charlie's Black Floppy Hat: ...

Halloween 2016

Halloween is the perfect excuse for me to express my creative abilities.  Two years ago I was the mesmerizing mermaid, last year I was the enchanting white swan, and this year I was able to be the courageous Princess Fiona.  I made my costume out of an old green 3/4 sleeve shirt seamed with green fabric.  Afterwards I added the gold details.  Since this was just a costume I didn't hem the bottom of the fabric.  The tiara and wig were the missing parts to my costume.  You can get them both on amazon.  The person to the right is my cousin Victoria.  She dressed as a care bear.  I hope you all enjoy!

The Windy City

Wedding In the third week of August, one of my boyfriends' cousin got married in Schaumburg, Illinois. His cousin is 100% Japanese and married a 100% Indian woman.  When I heard that their wedding was going to be a traditional Indian wedding a few weeks prior, I could not contain my excitement!  I have seen many Bollywood films and it was a bucket list of mine to attend a traditional Indian wedding.  Below will be pictures of the attire the Bride wore. Henna  Our plane arrived a few hours after the henna session for all the females, so I was sad.  On a good note, we didn't miss dinner and got to taste the famous Chicago DEEP DISH Pizza. Yum!  One slice filled me up, but since it was all you can eat, I went for another slice.  It came with a complementary salad and pasta.  We finished off with a miniature pizookie. The Brides' henna:  the bridges represent the places she lived in.  I cannot remember...

Graduation Photos

After taking these photos, graduating from college seemed more real than before.  It was a month until D-Day, but I knew I was ready.  Educating children in the elementary level has become my passion.  The only thing  left now is to decide which level I would be best suited for.  Credentials program here I come!! This photo was taken at CSUF's most famous landmark: the fountain. Since we are known for our agriculture, it would only make sense to take a photo with it.  The background is a grape vineyard the students cultivated and eventually will alter into wine in our enology building.

Hidden Gems in San Francisco

Some of the few attractions which brings tourist to the Bay Area would be these beautiful hand painted mosaic stairs.  Sadly, I was not able to take a full picture of the first and most popular stair case - The 16th Avenue Tiled Steps. (These steps reminds me of the ocean.)  However, I did find the other mosaic staircase, Hidden Gardens. This particular theme is in the name itself.  It was a mosaic piece constructed by little critters and plants that could possible be found in a garden.  This staircase only had three other people taking pictures.  If you're bummed about not being able to take a solo full body picture on the 16th avenue Tiled Stairs, come here to the Hidden Gardens.  It is a five minute walk left of the 16th avenue staircase.
